Is this some sort of a joke ??
Would dearly love to know what the criteria for this award is.
Geelong couldn't give a fat rats clacker about our competition or it supporters. Laughable.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Best Run club awarded by umpires! What criteria do the umpires use?

Has to be the most bizarre award in football, other than the Best Run Club it looks like the liston was a very good night. The stream did work for me on the Sunday's, but no chance last evening. I am in a poor spot for internet coverage so suspect that was the issue.

Used twitter to follow the event with the Leader-VFL Journalists providing their usual up to date coverage.

The JJ. Liston stream was excellant but the long gaps with no audio and mikes were too far away from the speaker except for Peter Donegan who is first class at every event.
I think Peter could add interest to a snail race as he really studies the background and history of players and clubs ,officials etc.
But as I couldn't attend (and not invited anyway) the VFL streaming was nearly as good as being there, keep it up next year also as I am sure more supporters will tune in with more publicity by all.
Congratulations to all award winners and good to see Garfield's/Dandy's Frosty Miller looking well.

Garfield's/Dandy's Frosty Miller looking well.

Jim also had about six games for Carlton.

I knew his uncle and he was the one that took him to the Blues when he was kicking bagsfull for Garfield but he told me that because Jim was an extremely shy country boy at that time he just didnt fit in at a VFL club and would sort of just sit in a corner and not mingle.

I think they also played him on a foward flank which wouldnt have been his best position.

Remember him too well when he used to kick too many goals against Sandy and other VFA teams.
I think he is still picking up and laying 'em down most days so still fit and active.
As I live in Garfield now ,Frosty is still a popular name around this here town.
