A further consequence of the extra player has come up with the leading goalkicker award:

What a "faithful" day indeed. I'd reckon it was more fateful!

Lourey was towelled up by Jay Lever...a player who has really struggled for form this year and in reality shouldn't have been in the side...I went up to him after the game and shook his hand and told him just how much it means beating Frankston and in particular an ex player who walked out last year...it was a sweet victory after being belted by 16 goals earlier in the year...a 19 goal turnaround. I'll take that anytime..

Even Sandy reserves managed a good turnaround after copping a 125 point thrashing from Frankston the week before...they got beaten by 5 goals but it was only in the last 1/4 that Frankston kicked away...

Lourey had a very good season but his effort in the last two games was poor, hopefully he learns from that because he still has quite a bit of improvement left in him at just 23. He could be a real force if he puts it all together.

Who's the clown running the scoreboard at Sandy? Abused the crap out of Lourey all day....thought he was pretty over the top given the number of kids sitting with their families nearby.

I didn't abuse Lourey all day...I gave him a send off when he was dragged in the last 1/4. However...I didn't swear...I mutter to myself a lot up there but I'm very aware of kids and females that sit nearby...get yer facts straight Toecutter!!..gave CHRIS Irving more of a serve than Lourey..and a few umpiring decisions..all in all...a normal day on the scoreboard...sarcasm works wonders when having a go at opposition players

Toecutter I have known Zebraman for many years and he has operated that scoreboard magnificently with his actions supporting the Zebras are non violent and good clean fun cheering on the team. Being close to a few Dolphins during the time they put a Zebra jumper on he knows how they were given every chance to perform but a lack of heart and returned good manners from one in particular of them never happened.
James Magna was an exception who was always thankful to be playing for the Zebras.

Is Sandringham the only Aussie rules ground in the country that has two manual scoreboards in operation each game?
