They have even brought back the classic jumper as part of the festivities!
Looks good. One of my first years following Port Melbourne. It was a fiery day, with Jack Aziz causing some excitement in the goal-square.
I seem to remember confusion as to the siren sounding, with supporters running onto the ground early.

Footscray Football Club - Back in the VFL in 2014
Nice work Raven!
I was at that GF at Princess Park. There was plenty of action before the starting siren. Jack Aziz was the centre of Port's attention. I recall that Jack was on 97 goals for the season, Port put two men on him for most of the day; Jack never scored a goal, Werribee's loose men did the scoring.
I think you will find jack did score, a ripper on a port player forget who.
I remember the day well unfortunately I wont be able to make it this weekend hopefully we bring our best from this not our worst

Early in the game (might have been before the start) I remember two Port players rushing towards Jack from each side, he put his arms out and next thing two Ports boys were on the ground then the " all in" started That GF is certainly worth dusting off the VCRs and having a re-run. I remember that GF well, Mrs Blackrocker & I got in for free as I had won two tickets on an ABC(3LO) radio quiz on the Saturday morning.
nice
Jack Aziz opened proceedings by a cowardly king hit on the Port full back (Barlow I think) in the goal square. (I wasn't a Port supporter at that stage).
lum
That jumper makes my eyes bleed.
