Stephen Milne is an interesting one, he may be playing for the Pentridge Panthers next year if he is convicted of the rape charges. Would you really want someone like that in your club, regardless of how good he is as a footballer?

His name come to mind when thinking of a small forward. He would be some chance of playing VFL I would of thought? I know he would be targeted in local footy so he may stay away from that.

He would be as handy as Ben Cousins.
You'd have to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to pull him on.

Its interesting to note that ABC said Gary said to the players after the loss - whoever wants to leave put your hand up now so we can start to build towards next season from now.

After that nobody has said what happened - who put their hand up? did evreybody go quiet and shy and did not respond to Gare's question ? If their was players who on Saturday said they are going - who were they ?

I was in the room. No players raised there hands. Nothing in it...
As with any clubs process players will decide there future. Meetings are held at most clubs with individuals to debrief individually & see if they are a required player or want to persure other options.

Gary Ayres post match:
Ayres told the players after the match that he wanted to get their season reviews over quickly and begin planning for 2014.

He said the club had much to do on and off the ground to stay in the top bracket and decisions needed to be made quickly.

Later, he told pressmen Port could do with key defenders, speed through the midfield and a "big, aggressive'' ruckman.

"We'll have to address that certainly over the coming months because the competition's only going to get more difficult, purely and simply because there's extra teams coming in. So you're all going to be chasing a similar sort of player. ''
