There's 2 more Port players who are 50/50 to go on next year. Both have some huge offers to play local footy. 2014 is a huge changing of the guard down at the Borough.

Do you mean the coach? Conan will lead the revival don't worry about that. With players moving on it also frees up money so it's not all negative. Ayres himself said that he will look to regroup & reinvent the side over summer.

Port seem to be losing a lot of good players Whats the reason as we need Port as a strong stand alone club.

It's was always going to happen Billy. They are all close mates and in that age group where they consider moving on. Whether that's 27,28,29 etc they were going to do it at the same time. You never want to lose quality players but they have been outstanding for Port in many ways.

I hope Port stay strong and some of the stand alone clubs make the final eight in 2014.

Otherwise it wont be worth watching the VFL(sic) if the AFL seconds sides dominate.

I think thats what most people hope however early signs suggest it is going the other day. When we lost in the finals gary stated that he wanted a clean up however Galea and Bonnas were two we would of liked to of kept. Shame. Seems like its many leaving so hopefully the club can re-cruit well with QUALITY players who can be competitive.

As you said Billy I would like to see Port being a competive club rather than just fielding a side. Interesting times ahead.

THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!

I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!

That's who I meant Burra.
Does he have a contract ??? (Not that that means anything.)
Don't want you heading for the Westgate Bridge, but there are murmurs. Be alert not alarmed.
