Hoping all the VFL standalone teams in Williamstown, Port Melbourne, Frankston, Coburg and Bendigo can have good seasons in 2014.
Certainly Williamstown has prepared itself to go it alone better than either Port Melbourne or Bendigo, both these Clubs finished last in their first year as stand alone. It has good depth on its VFL list with 5 or 6 Development players at least ready to play VFL in 2014.
I think they will finish in the bottom half of the eight, 5th to 8th.
As for Coburg, at this stage the silence is deafening. I think there is a real chance Coburg won't even make the starting line for 2014.
Coburg are no certainties to field a development team next year.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
