have heard that they have cut over 100 and still have over 100 on track every night. Massive numbers which is good that so many hopefulls are willing to have a crack.
Lots of cannons and jets kids so obviously going down the long and proven road for longevity and not the short road to brokedom by signing 30 year old hacks like some clubs in the competition.
Looks like Germo is rebuilding the joint from the bottom up and is in it for the long term.
Personally I think that they need to congratulated for going down this road and lets all hope that they will be a club to feared in the future like the Suns and the Giants.

Have belief for the path to victory has been well worn however seldom do we arrive at the destination.

We've had up to 130-140 players down at sessions, cut it down to about 110 at the moment, will continue to be reduced in the next few weeks, but it's been very good.

Around 35 players from last season are back, several have come across from Frankston, Northern Blues, one from Port Melbourne, one or two from interstate, one youngster from AFL, and a lot of players from the EDFL and WRFL. It's a good group though, better than last year's crop, very young, but there are definitely good signs

Nobody has followed Germo across from Willi .... interesting. He bought three with him from the Scorpions, Faulks, Wall & Stockdale, but none have gone with him to the 'burgers.

Digs my boy, Ferguson, Gallagher, Anthony, Wood, Marigliani, etc etc, please it is just a lot of expense and one less spot for the up and comers.
And no-one will follow German to Coburg from Willi because Coburg will run on 50% of the cap and Willi have to many tables to compete with.
