Pretty confident Tim Clarke is definitely coaching the Richmond side, was primed to it all this year, they're looking for big names throughout the VFL, won't take many from us though

1. That's why we couldn't announce it earlier, contractual stuff was being sorted
2. Cos he was contracted to the Bulldogs, and Willi decided down a different route
3. Cos they didn't want him i think

Footyscray is Chris Maple I believe.

good get by the Burgers but it puzzles me on a number of fronts:
1. if he is still contracted to the Bulldogs how can he coach an opposition club (slight conflict of interest!);
2. if he is not still contracted to the Bulldogs why didn't Willi keep him on as coach?
3. why didn't the Bulldogs grab him, an experienced successful coach with a pub in Footscray?

Strange all around .......

Wal, I think he still has a year to go at the Bulldogs, so I guess he will have to be paid out as it is obvious that he is not wanted there or at Willy.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

The Willi press release seemed to indicate the fact that he was still contracted to the Bulldogs was the reason he wasn't reappointed, so i find it strange that Willi would let him go if he isn't. I'll find out the real story in a week or two at our coterie group end-of-season knees-up ;-)

The real story Wally is that he was not wanted at Willy.

Funny you say that....when Willy played sandy at sandy, at 1/4 time I went out to the sandy huddle as I was doing the drinks for the players....and we heard this screaming going on...we looked around and it was Peter German screaming at the Willy players..weird....it was soooo loud..

Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years

I'd love to know how the dogs are tracking. No real development going on at whiten oval. I'm feeling they could be playing somewhere else.
