I sent them a email. NorthPort how did you go with the phone call ?
I'm going to email a couple of mates to tell them to voice their concerns.

I never did MegaA..I found there was a tick box requesting a call-back..which hasn't happened.
If the fence is taken down the loss of income is enough to make the club fold.
I'm all for letting people/kids use the ground during the week but there is one massive problem. Last season the playing surface was deemed unsafe and unplayable after a few days rain. And this was with the bare minimum use by the football club only training twice a week as well as match day.
Will the Fishemens bend crew be prepared to budget in an extra million dollars to put in drainage and returf the whole oval so it can tolerate the extra foot traffic??
Theirs enough parkland to accomodate everybody. How often do you go past Murphys and see people having a kick of the footy. More times then not - nobody is using that park or the other two in Garden City. I just don't think this has been thought through properly.
On a seperate note - don't they train 3 times a week ? Your posts said two times.
Technically they train 3 days a week but one day is more or less recovery or a very light skills session. I agree about the amount of parks, gardens and open space that is currently not used.
I made a few phone calls today and next wednesday the 30th there will be an information booth set up outside Coles between 10am-1pm regarding the development. I have been informed that any questions will be answered by the appropriate people who will be in attendance and plenty of info available.
No fence= No finals = No home ground advantage
Exactly as it should be !!!
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Are you advocating no home finals for Port regardless of ladder position????
No.......You've got to earn them.
Tell that to west coast in the 2006 grand final.
