Oldtimers would wonder why he would not have returned to Aberfeldie.

His best mates at Coburg (Eric Kuret, Joe Gazzo, Ben Clifton to name a few) were Greenvale products. He joined them, which was a smart move as the club has gone on to win back-to-back flags. (The cash probably doesn't hurt either, but that's the same with every top club in the EDFL).

He's a gun in local footy, although has had a run of niggly injuries - particularly his elbow.
