Western Storm through to semi final on June 24 against winner of next Tuesday's match Box Hill vs West Perth

Watched some of it pretty good standard pity the weather was not good and a very sparse crowd inn attendance.
It will be interesting to see if Hawthorn/Box Hill take the next game seriously and put up their best side or treat this comp as a joke like some of the VFL clubs have in the past.

My money is they will field a 'reserves' side.

They play on Saturday, then Tuesday - crazy!

Without looking at the injury list, perhaps a young VFL-listed side with some Hawks who need a run or are coming back?

Was very impressed with how the Storm went about it, great team pressure that never really let the Bloods get a run on.

Looks like West Adelaide fielded a second string side which is the big problem with this competition.

Imagine the carnage if Box Hill beat West Perth and turn up with 16 AFL players to take on the Western Storm.

Box Hill will most likely be a couple of seniors and mainly reserves players that play for Box Hill. If they take the storm lightly they also might cop a loss.
Western Storm now play in a lower grade in Tassie but looked ok last night irrespective of what kind of team West Adelaide put on the field. Storm played a good brand of footy and deserved to win.

I think the Storm play in the highest grade now, the TSL ladder has them as 2-1 so far this season.
