Opposition supporters already call East Perth the Eagles and that riles up EP supporters no end. There are so few Peel supporters that we can't gauge their views.

I hearing the ABC are highly likely to drop the VFL from schedule after this season,

The chances are that VFL will not be on tv in 2015

Could be the first time since 1966 no VFA/VFL games televised

The ABC have been wanting to get out of state football coverage for quite a few years. The SANFL made their move this year, the Queensland Rugby Comp went over to Channel 9 a few years ago and the WAFL are exploring all options.

Wonder what AFL Victoria are doing? Live streaming or replays on demand have to be serious options.

I don't really understand why the ABC would want out. It can't be that expensive for the amount of TV time it fills?

If it falls over you'd like to think afl Vic would arrange some self videoing but I can't see it. It would be up to the clubs that have the resources and actually care to do the filming.

What is stopping AFL Victoria from putting video replays on the VFL website? Can accessa replay of Division 3 Northern Football League but not VFL

I would say that it's because AFL Vic's primary concern is with running a reserves comp for the AFL. For good or bad, that is the goal.

The people that follow the old VFA clubs are secondary. I would think that if AFL Vic actually put the effort into preparing a quality video, at very least someone like channel 31 would be willing to show it.

The old mongrel hates public broadcasters like the ABC as they take viewers from the likes of Foxtel and BSkyB where he makes a lot of his money No doubt the cost cuts at the ABC already and the bullshit review are part of a deal from his love child Abbott.
Its even more important to him now as the Newspaper section Of News Ltd is losing money in Australia and it aint going to get better any time soon.
