The Foxtel Cup is a complete waste of time.
Going to Tassie for VFL games is also a waste of time and resources.
Bendigo Gold should be playing at the best venue available, and that wasn't Swan Hill, and definitely not Echuca.

Hahaha something your mob will never have to worry about in your life time Gold.

Goldie, the games should be promoted and taken to country and rural areas. Tassie was not a waste of time and were great for the comp. They produced quite a few players that have played AFL level and got very good crowds.
It is not all about state of the art facilities. What would you prefer to have all games at TURD DOME DOCKLANDS and be ripped off to shreds price wise ??
Nothing wrong with grass roots footy and playing at suburban grounds. What about Punt Road and Western Oval I wouldn't class them as best grounds on earth. Windy Hill ? Kardinia Park terrible viewing ground for vfl games and supporters treated like lepers.
I enjoy Williamstown, Port Melbourne, Frankston, Sandy etc and always the trip to North Ballarat. QEO is a good ground but promoting a game here or there in country Victoria is NOT a WASTE of time. Try telling some of the Bendigo players that were from the Swan Hill region that playing games there were a waste of time and you will see what kind of reaction you will get.

How do you enjoy barracking for North Melbourne's VFL side?

Gold

I love going to all the suburban grounds, but not travelling 2 and a 1/2 hours for a "home" game....

Pathetic comment Goldie !!!
Just the same as you did when Essendon were propping you up all those years.

LOL. I only got involved after Essendon left. They are the reason we are starting again. I've said it before. Essendon did nothing for football in Bendigo. Nothing at all. They turned people off the vfl here. We are now Bendigo. No AFL. You keep believing you're North Ballarat mate. How many of your guys got picked in the state side this year???

Ah, all your top players are from north Melbourne. It's ok.

paul

We can tell you're a recent addition, thinking for a second that North Ballarat is just the Kangaroos' VFL side was a dead giveaway.

Gold

Who've been North Ballarats best players this year? Go Kangas. ;)

Goldie,
Have you ever heard the old adage "You can't educate mugs"
One thing I do know is that if Essendon had not got involved there would be no Bendigo today, they would long be DEAD DEAD DEAD.
The Roosters are well & truly North Ballarat a club that have an alignment with North Melbourne, an arrangement that works beautifully & has produced three premierships & that is more than games Bendigo has won. !!
Last Saturday the Roosters who have won their past 5 games played Delaney,Jacobs,McKenzie, that have played less than ten AFL games along with Dumont & Wallace that have not yet played an AFL game. So hardly North Melbourne reserves.
As for the state game (Which I don't know how that's relevent) The Roosters had no representatives but Port had nine & they have lost their past two games.
Bendigo can only dream of being half the club that is the successful Roosters.
