Well done to Nic, very talented young player with a good future.

I would of also had Tom O'Sullivan in the mix if he qualifies. Pretty sure he just turned 23 this season. Played a handfull of games for Port last year but in 2014 he's averaged 26 possesions per game and kicked 12 goals. Certainly in the mix for our best and fairest as a 2nd year player, pretty impressive. Would have to be the VFL's most improved player.

Matthew Quirk had a crack with Carlton, De Lulio started at Brunswick then was recruited by Carlton after Box Hill. Porter played with North and Carlton. Dooley with the dogs. Passador has had more clubs than Tiger Woods. Still running around in the VAFA. Springvale, Box Hill, Peel Thunder, West Adelaide to name a few. De Pasqualie Richmond's list plus Port Adelaide magpies. Firrito still playing for North now. Davey ex Melbourne and now Richmond VFL part time. Davenport went to Geelong I think and was he on Port's list ? Valenti still a borough after Melbourne. Nahas to Richmond then North (still there). Barlow a star with Freo. Hibberd a very good player with Essendon. Saad was going well with St Kilda. Towers had a stint with the Swans. Lambert going well with the seagulls and could be drafted. Looking at the list above Newman not only has a chance to play AFL but could be a very good player at AFL level.
