I've watched up until quarter time and the talls of Box Hill are a real worry already. So far the Borough don't appear to have dropped Bonaddio or Will Johnston back there to try and clog it up.

Port had a few chances that needed to be a bit more tidy with.

Playing at North Port almost works against us, where there is a lot more contested/pack marking situations Box Hills tall timber, as was the case with Footscray earlier in the year really causes some strife.

Selection next week becomes a little more open, with the Chargers having a week off as they are straight through to the Prelims. Perhaps Waddell comes straight back in if Fanning isn't quite ready.

Marigliani reported as I believe Pinwill was later in the game is also a cause for concern.

It's a good game so far on the TV coverage. Good to have Simon Goosey in the special comments chair.

Nice to meet you on Saturday Georgi. Would somebody be able to tell me with St Kilda out of the AFL and only players who have played 6 or more games available for Sandringham selection - how will this impact on the Sandy line up ? How many (roughly) St Kilda players will be putting on the Sandy guernsey ?

As for the crowd - it was decent but would of thought around another 500 would of turned up. This Saturday promises to be a ripper. COMMON BOROUGH!!!!

Not really Digs - more so trying to work out what each teams chances are for Saturdays clash. AFL inclusions obviously make a big impact.

I've now watched the game in its entirety. Very impressive performance from the Mustangs. Plenty of height across all lines of the Box Hill side. But it wasn't just their height that got them the win. Their pressure and discipline was first class.

Port should bounce back next week. I still feel our season is far from over.

Ive looked at them a few times on replay. Marigliani seems very unlucky, went straight at the ball and couldn't avoid coctact. Should be overturned.

Tobys will be intersting. Shouldn't have put himself in this position... Impact was very, very minimal. The live commentary team laughed at the incident and said the Box Hill player might be looking for a gig on Neighbours! You would call it more of a high tackle than striking. No one was hurt, no trainers required etc. Wait and see I guess.

Not quite sure why these comments are in this thread, however, as you've given your one eyed view of the incidents I'll offer my one eyed view as well.

Woodward had his head over the ball and Mariglani hit him in the head. In the AFL this would be one week every time. Not sure what his record is like but unless it's poor 2 weeks is definitely at the upper end of the scale. Definitely deserves a week though.

What can you say about Pinwill? Luke Andrews joins Kristan Height, Liam Shiels and Sam Iles as Box Hill players who wear a Pinwill elbow in the face as a badge of honour. He's certainly got form.

The commentators were dead wrong. The elbow was cocked and contact was made to the face, Andrew's head immediately jolted back. Not severe, agreed, but late and an elbow to the face. Worth one week every time, two weeks due to all the priors.

You said you would give a one eyed view Mustang and congratulations you have succeeded. I won't comment on Pinwall's incident as I haven;t seen it on screen but i did see Mariglianis report and agree 100 per cent with what Burraburger said. Call it another one eyed Port melbourne supporters view if you wish - but you would also be calling the commentators one eyed Port Melbourne supporters. Perhaps Simon Goosey is a Port supporter deep down as he said "They report people for anything thesedays". Mariglianis was very harsh indeed.
