Saw the last quarter of this game on TV in the pub last night, what a pathetic turnout, there would have been 20 times the crowd at Whitten Oval but no TV coverage, the lazy and cash-strapped ABC prefer to just leave their OB gear at North Port for three weeks rather than showing the best games, not good enough.

Good call Wal, people are not going to go & watch North Ballarat when they can stay home & take a slight interest when they can watch the game on TV.
Clearly the best two sides should be televised irrespective of the cost & should be underwritten by the VFL.
The game itself was a very poor standard & the Roosters failed to give a yelp against a Werribee side that was far from their best.
Interesting next couple of weeks with Box Hill only going to improve when four of Hawthorn's big guns return to the AFL in the next final.

Where were all the Werribee fans, digs? Didn't see too many in the small crowd.

It was a small attendance. I expected that. Due to my medical condition, I sat in the same spot all match, near 50m line near the disused time clock, so didn't see who was who. There were certainly Werribee supporters present but also quite a few in North Melbourne colours. At this stage I am yet to see either match on tv.
