Free admission at Werribee

Those footy fans attending the ANZAC Day match at Werribee for the Werribee v North Ballarat NOON start match are reminded that admission is free until 1pm.
Free admission also applies to the matches at Frankston and Port Melbourne, providing you are the pre-1pm.

Pretty good way to boost what already is expected to be a healthy crowd - wonder if Port will push this in the local media.

37 times Grand finalists
16 times premiers
21 times runners up - THE MIGHTY BOROUGH!

I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN,
I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED,
I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was more at Ports last practice game than most teams get during the regular season. I'm not sure the free pre 1pm entrance is much of an incentive to non members... There's basically a 45 min game gap between the seniors and reserves so would this be a successful ploy?

Most VFL supporters would follow their DL team as well as the Seniors, so would like to see at least the end of the DL match. Dunno about NBlues though. In any case, it is a Government rule, not the VFL's.
Perhaps those waiting between matches could be persuaded to buy a burraburger for lunch!

Put me down for one tomorrow.

Hope the grill is firing at halftime in the seniors (which will be roughly 11.15am by my calculations!)

Diehards yes, but most supporters rock in at about the first bounce of the main game from my experience.
