Couple of improved efforts from the Dolphs the past fortnight, big game next Sunday at home against Sandy - which is pretty much always a winnable game for Frankston regardless of ladder position - because there is a very tough run coming up after that.
Should be an interesting game. I think we'll get a much better idea of where Frankston are at right now. From what I saw on TV Sandy looked pretty sharp against Casey, Dolphs seem to have a solid game plan ....very interested in seeing if they can implement it successfully against quality opposition.
Dolphins much improved in the past fortnight. Might not be a winless season after all. Going down by only 18 points to Carlton seconds considering the dolphins young and ineperienced list is not too bad. More games the better for the young dolphins.
Spot on Bearsman, a good opponent and what looks like the first good weather game of the season, will be a good test. Dolphs obviously running a version of Hawthorn's game plan, will be interesting to see how enterprising they are in the fine weather or if they continue to try and keep it messy.
Probably are a bit inconsistent as they quite would not have the skills as yet to try with that sort of game plan. Playing Sandy will probably get the best out of the young dolphins this week but whether they are good enough to win time will tell.
