:D Sandy v Box Hill practice match was played in very hot conditions as you are aware. All players were using the water coolers and a credit to both teams for a tough game. Box Hill only had 26 players and Sandy used about 40 so it was a chance for both clubs to look at new recruits and not really too many regular senior players. Up to 3/4 time the game was even then BoxHill took over and scored 6 goals to Sandy nil so the better team on the day won well. Zebras who went well were Johnston,Fletcher,Neaves,Gibb,Newton.
Zebras next practice match Sat. March 11th v Frankston at Kars st. Seniors and reserves, another good chance to view recruits , starting 11.20am then 2pm.
gozebs
