Too busy barracking for Port at Footscray!

The last time I came to a game here Paul Roos was playing for Fitzroy!

Go Port!

Far out...

See the two tall sticks?? That's where you're trying to kick the footy!

Always next year.

What a game! We didn't get the 4 points, but I'm hugely proud of those players representing Port today.

We had out chances, no doubt about that but didn't quite put on enough scoreboard pressure. I thought our work rate was probably as good as at any time this season, right up there with the Williamstown game.

Our tackling pressure and referred pressure we put on them was really good. Riley Hogan (I think it was) run down tackle surely will make the top 5 highlights.

Would I be right in thinking three of Boyd's goals came from free kicks?

Very proud of all the Port boys who took the field today. A really gutsy effort from everyone.
Free kicks in front slaughtered us.
Seems to me that with a fair go from the umpires in the last few minutes we would have made it.
I will watch a reply, and in the cold light of day I might have to change my opinion!
Footscray must be forced to install a decent scoreboard. The "traffic conditions" one was unreadable,

They were using that last season, surely something more permanent and readable wouldn't be out of the question

Yeah disgraceful that scoreboard. It's the big let down, the banners / advertising around the entry was good I thought so I hat was a real shame.
