BENDIGO Gold produced one of its best performances of the season with a 19-point victory against Williamstown at Windy Hill on Saturday.
Fielding its strongest team this year, the Gold defied a slow start and a mounting inury list to beat the Seagulls comfortably, 18.14 (122) to 15.13 (103).

THREE Bendigo Gold players are in contention to represent the VFL against Tasmania later this month.
Gold co-captains Ben Duscher and Trent Shinners, along with Jordan Williams, were yesterday included in the VFL’s initial 32-man squad for the representative game.

JUST like he hasn’t got carried away with big wins this season, Bendigo Gold coach Hayden Skipworth hasn’t spent the week dwelling on his side’s flogging from the Northern Blues last Saturday.
After losing to the Blues by 100 points last Saturday, the Gold returns to the Queen Elizabeth Oval tonight to take on Geelong in round five of the VFL.
