Footballer on drug charges

A FORMER Tasmanian Devils football player has pleaded not guilty to drug charges.
Brennan Savage appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning on one count of selling a controlled drug.
The 23-year-old entered a plea through his lawyer and Independent MLC Jim Wilkinson.
Police have alleged Savage sold ecstacy tablets at a central Launceston hotel in October last year.
He was granted bail to reappear on February 25.
