I have been thinking of starting this thread, but wasn't sure if it is really the PC thing to do these days. But I'll start it off anyway. This isn't a thread to bag anyone, but just to point out some of the people that make going to the footy great.
I'll start off with just a couple.
1. Jude - Classic identity down at Port Melbourne, who also barracks for Williamstown (since the Collingwood alignment I guess). Is willing to change jumpers mid-game to Collingwood or Williamstown, if the Borough are trailing.
2. The Port hater. This bloke, who often wears high-visibility jackets (bright orange or yellow) consistently comes to watch Port play, but barracks for the opposition side on the day. Often mumbles obscenities while walking past the Port Melbourne supporters near the interchange bench. I often see him at other ABC TV games as well. Can upset other supporters, so is great value to stand near.
