FRANK |
Friday night is a massive game for Frankston. Williamstown haven't been in great form to start the year so if we can beat them at their own ground and go 2-0 that sets us up really well for the year.
Have Williamstown's lights been upgraded? The last time we played there, they were way below the standard needed for spectators at the ground.
Hard to pick a winner in this game. I think Frankston might have the edge on the towners at this early stage of the season.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.

I saw parts of tonights game down at Willy. Frankston overrun in the end, but a gallant effort and will give finals a real shake imo.

The boys will be bitterly disappointed with that ending. Should have put it beyond reach in the third and just lacked the intensity and execution required for those 30 minutes. Didn't cave in when Willy hit the front though, fought to the finish......we'll bounce back hungrier I think.
Bullants lost by over 20 goals again, they've got some problems - Dollies were really good last night, they will win a few games this year and will be very hard to beat at home - that guy O'Leary #10 looks a star, great distributor of the ball
Yeah I watched the last 10 minutes of the Gold Coast v Bullants game.
It's a real worry. I think the VFL/AFL might have to look at other means to level the playing field. Perhaps allowing standalone clubs to select players when AFL teams have a bye but still want to give listed players a run.
Dunno, but there has to be something that can be done.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
I attended the Final game at punt road oval before redevelopment yesterday.
Richmond who had 10 AFL Listed players compared with Brisbane’s 15 were very good.
it will be a big game when they play Frankston at Kinetic Stadium on Good FrIday Night.
it was interesting day too given as there was no working siren
