A frustrating day off footy down at Victoria Park in front of a healthy crowd numbers-wise.

Port have no one to blame but themselves after trailing by just 4 points in the final break, only to squander opptortunity after opportunity as the ball went forward into the forward line and straight back out, due to a combination of skill errors and poor decision making.

The Borough may rue those missed chances come September, with the likelihood of a top 4 finish gone.

Croker wsa good, but I thought Mihocek did extremely well in defense, and the fact that 4 of Ports bests were defenders, is probably an indication that not enough was made of our forward pushes.

Agree with everything that you said Northport. For me Mihocek was our best on ground. Seemed to mark everything. The number of inside 50's we had in the 4th was good however we couldn;t do much once in there. We gavethem a push - were good, but unfortunately not good enough.
