Playing 18 games in 22 round with 4 byes.
That could easily be 20 games with 2 byes.
With 21 teams a Final 10 (don't call it wildcard) is a good idea
Are there really four byes? Why not just play everyone and only have two byes?

Yeah I can't believe we have 4 byes, at the expense of an even comp.
I can't think of any other competitions where clubs never meet during a home and away system.

2023 VFL season fixture should be out by the end of the month
Long overdue. It's difficult to plan for interstate games without knowing exactly where and when!
Full VFL Fixture with times and dates for first 14 Rounds should be out by the end of the week
