Sorry to pick you up but the VFA is not the oldest Australian Football Comp that honour goes to the current SANFL by a couple of weeks
Originally formed as the South Australian Football Association on 30 April 1877, the SANFL is the oldest surviving football league of any code in Australia.
The Victorian Football Association (VFA) was founded on 17 May 1877 at the meeting of club secretaries immediately preceding the 1877 season.
And don't forget the VFA has not existed since 1995 when it was killed off by the AFL and renamed the VFL!
Sorry you are 100% wrong again the VFA officially ceased to exist at the end of the 1995 season and the ex VFA clubs that still exist from that time have played in the VFL ever since and that is a fact!
The VFA died as a competition died in 1995. Just wishing or thinking something is a fact when it isn't does not make it real!
Springvale won the last ever VFA premiership in 1995 since then all the premiership flags have the VFL name on them not the VFA!.
