Billy Burstin has been at Kyabram. I read that he was keen to go back to Port in 2017 but stayed at Kyabram. He's still young enough, I think around 28 or 29 now.
You are right Northport, alot of experience and a few massive losses at Port with other high profile players yet to be confirmed for seasons 2018 by the club ie Pinwall, Mihocek, Conway, Lisle etc. As per previous seasons I would expect that Port recruits well. Maybe more will be revealed at the AGM.

THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
Another big loss today, this time in the backline. Brodie Mihocek off to Collingwood as pick 22 in the draft. Not a huge surprise and if he plays as consistent as he has the past two years then I believe that he will do well.
Looks like Port Melbourne have a bit of homework to do to put out a competitive 2018 side.
Anthony Anastasiou is gone apparently, according to what i was told just today
Hopefully this creates more opportunities for those fringe players who spent the majority of the season in the DL. We might just be in for a tougher 2018. Mack Rivett is a good example. I guess we can only wait and see.
Anastasio to Noble Park. Heard Leigh Osbourne is going to Box Hill.
I thought Noble Park was Anastasio's nominated club? Has he quit VFL?
Only a couple of days after Northport mentioned that he was worried about the lack of signings, Port has announced its first two signings. Billy Lloyd comes to Port from North Adelaide having played 4 senior SANFL games.
Callum Searle has been signed after playing 4 times as the 23rd player for Port in 2017.
If we look at the departing quality in Sandilands, Dwyer, Mihocek, Murdoch etc then the club has some big holes to fill. Will these two be able to help replace the lost quality?
Ethan Phillips is the latest Port recruit. Ethan comes to the club from the Oakleigh Charges. A tall defender who the club hopes that in due time can be the next Brody Mihocek. Huge shoes to fill (maybe size 13) - however with the benefit of young age and hard work, who knows what will be ?
At this early stage - I believe we are going to be in for a more testing season next year but confident at a top 8 spot. Still have plenty of player movements to come therefore still early days.
I see Toby Pinwill has retired, has been an ornament to the game, all the best to him.
