I'm not just complaining for complaining's sake, and my next step is to email the herald sun, but in their search for afl players in the VFL, it was reported this morning that Tom Davidson kicked 5 goals for Werribee in their win against Port Melbourne at TEAC oval. That's true. The fact that he did so in the reserves doesn't seem to matter, nor the fact that Jarrad Garth continued his goal kicking form of late to bag another 4, or that Matthew Smith kicked 5 for Port in a losing side. The Herald sun vfl write-ups are so obviously written while studying the match details, with the odd phone call to a coach.
