Heard him on SEN today about the Vic vs. All Stars game,
For the first time he made it very clear that next year is a celebration of 150 years of Autralian Football and "NOT AFL FOOTBALL" and NOT AFL/VFL FOOTBALL or something to that tune, it put half a smile in my face, still no mention of the oldest comp in the land, but it was a start, however he did sound a bit restrained while saying it.
As I said, it was a start, let's wait and see if the letters V F and A get slipped in at any stage in that order and in a decent pace between now and the end of next football seaosn by anyone at the AFL... :roll:
