Different combinations since 2000
Different teams since the start of 2000. The following combinations of stand alone/alignmets and part alignments are as follows: Richmond Coburg/Richmond Coburg/Fitzroy Werribee/Footscray (part and full) Werribee/North Melbourne (part) Murray Kangaroos Port Melbourne/North Melbourne North Ballarat/North Melbourne (part) Tasmania/North Melbourne (part) Tasmania Port melbourne/Swans (part-as only a few swans players played at one time) Port Melbourne Sandringham/Melbourne Box Hill/Hawthorn Essendon Bendigo/Essendon Bendigo Diggers Geelong Collingwood Williamstown/Collingwood Williamstown/Footscray (part and full) St Kilda Springvale/St Kilda Casey/St Kilda Carlton Preston/Carlton North Ballarat Springvale Frankston That is 31 different combinations which includes Williamstown and Werribee who had both half and full alignment with the docs. There is are two teams that have not changed and that is Frankston and Geelong. This is in nine seasons. Amazing. More changes for 2009 with Sandringham and St Kilda and possibly Casey and Melbourne. Could be Craigieburn Tigers and maybe a return of Coburg/Fitzroy. Maybe North will be with Coburg and Werribee standalone. Who knows ??? One thing is for sure the dolphins and the borough will stand alone and good on them. They don't need afl and are both going well this season. Frankston could make the eight and Port could be a top four chance.
