Fothergill-Round Medal

The award for the best young player, but does anyone have the exact criteria for this award?

http://vfl.goal.com.au/default.asp?pg=history&spg=display&articleid=245… Doesn't actually give the criteria. What happens if another JJ liston Medal awardee wins the Brownlow (Sammy Mitchell  ) will they rename the medal?

I don't think there is any criteria as such. It is simply awarded to the player in the VFL most likely to be drafted. Davey won it and he only played less than half the season. I have no idea which people actually choose the award.

AFL listed players have won the Liston medal, dual winners, I think in 2001, were Ezra Poyas (Richmond) and a young Carlton player, I can't recall his name, who has since been delisted and returned to Queensland.

Thanks Rico; Brett Backwell, that's the name I was trying to think of, he originated from Queensland, and I read some where that he had returned to his home State.
