Was thinking today, should the VFL offer a weekend this year where gates are thrown open at the grounds and fans can get in for free?
The VFL needs to showcase itself to new audiences and even if a small percentage of newcomers come for a look and decide to come back it could be a win for the competition.
Surely a sponsor could jump on board and subsidise the weekend so the home clubs dont lose a gate!
Any thoughts?
Or any other ideas to generate new interest in the comp?
