A few positives to come out of this game. I thought Pinwill and Bloom did well, and definitely didn't look out of place in the side.
Did a small bit on those I noticed.
I had those who played as (in no order)
[b]Toby Pinwill [/b]- Did some good things, bulked up, took the opposition on unecessarily and got caught.
[b]H McIntosh[/b] - Marked everything that came his way, spent time in the ruck, forward and back. Looked good
[b]Baird[/b] - Played ok
[b]Grima[/b] - A little quiet, didnt think he chased hard enough on a couple of occasions
[b]Schwarze[/b] - Good game, including a run of about 60-70 metres out of the backline to the forward 50.
[b]Bonaddio[/b] - Presented but didn't take marks
[b]S Harvey[/b] - Kicked 4 goals, but more impressive was a chase-down tackle where he ran hard over 30 metres to lay the tackle. Wondered what they had done with the real Shane Harvey
[b]Gibbo[/b] - Classy. Had a ton of the ball, and used it well. Took some strong grabs and provided run out of defence
[b]Ch Jones[/b] - played in defence, didnt have a great game, spent time on Nathan Ablett who had a good game.
[b]Bloom[/b] - Did some good things in the centre and played most of the game there.
[b]Le Cras[/b] - Played further up the ground, and kicked a couple of goals.
[b]Thewlis[/b] - Took me a while to work out who this guy was. Did alright.
[b]Watson[/b] - Got injured just on half-time, took no further part in the game.
[b]Buckley[/b] - Spent some time in a back pocket.
[b]Gilham[/b] - Only really got a run in the last quarter I think, didnt see much of the ball.
[b]B Moran[/b] - Rucked and spent time in defence. Pretty raw, may spend time in Ports reserves this year.
[b]Scott McMahon[/b] - Didnt really notice him that much.
[b]Perkins[/b] - Did a couple of good things on a back flank / wing.
So there were about 4 I couldnt name.
