GREATER Western Sydney has signed two more players, with defender Tim Mohr and midfielder Adam Kennedy joining the expansion club.
Under the list establishment rules set by the AFL, the Giants were able to secure Mohr and Kennedy as players who have previously nominated for the NAB AFL Draft.
Mohr is a 22-year-old tall defender who is originally from Tasmania and was recruited from the Casey Scorpions in the VFL. He won Casey’s best and fairest award this year.
National list and recruitment manager Stephen Silvagni said Mohr's height and speed would be a huge asset to the Giants' back line in 2012.
"He's a strong key position defender who can play centre half back or full back and that is a big asset for us," he said.
