Steve Parsons Brunswick. He was coaching Brunswick against Box Hill at Brunswick in the early 80s. Brunswick were second or third playing Box Hill who were last. At three qtr time Box Hill led by about a goal. Parsons just glared at all his players. He said, you got yourselves into this f----- mess, get yourselves out of this f----- mess and walked away. Brunswick booted 10 goals to bolt in.
In 1977 Yarraville captain coach David Thorpe in a game at Northcote pre game he said to his players lets get them with fists clenched. As the eagles ran onto the ground they charged at Northcote where a brawl started.
There are plenty of great moments from the coaches in the huddles or before/after the game.
