I'm yet to re watch the entire game, but saw the last ten minutes. Goodwin has nothing to worry about with the report. It was ridiculous. I'm surprised he kept his cool because he was getting a pretty rough trot from the umpire in the ruck duels.
Both sides had chances late but Port will rue not having a bit more of a lead going into 3/4 time, plus conceding early goals in the last quarter.
Williamstown were able to expose Port with quick rebound football and deep forward entries on several occasions with either loose players or advantageous one on one marking contests.
I didn't see any Wally. There was plenty of constructive criticism on how the umpires could improve.
i spotted a Port supporter in front of the Sam Keckovich Stand in the last quarter getting very animated about a non-paid free kick, would have been immediately ejected from Marvel
Well I see that Tom Goodwin got a week. Unbelievable. I'll try and upload the incident.
That's his second suspension this season. He landed a punch earlier on in the game to the chest area, should have considered himself lucky to get away with that one but managed to get himself suspended again. Tough football is what Port is known for but pretty hard to do ruckwork from the Norm Goss stand. Maybe I am being a little harsh, cant remember the incident but will look at it on replay later this week.
