Maybe Melbourne Storm should play a practice game at Kars Street Robbo.

Peter Geddes was a very handy player at Freakston as well!

Good things happening at Frankston off field. If they get that 2,000 seat grandstand then they will probably have the best stand alone ground in the comp.

Hoping that better days on field will follow.

Robbo

Thought the ground was a chance of hosting an AFLW or AFL pre season game in 2021 but missed out.

Definetely good enough a ground for AFLW. Night soccer matches were mentioned as a potential fixture there. Not sure which clubs from the area might play there at night, all the other big name soccer clubs i know of around there already have match standard lights.

Casey fields is large enough I think Bearsman - 175 x 145 width. That would be wide enough to appease the AFL i would have thought?

Agree that AFLW could be played there. What have thought its be better than the shithole Casey Fields. They had an Afl practice match there years ago and from memory the ground width (lack of) was an issue for the AFL

Dolphins have signed Josh Begley from Essendon. Sensational signing by Frankston!

Also Anthony Brolic VFL team of the year, from Box Hill - via Rowville (I think).

Robbo

The club is prepared to host around 500 or so underprivilidged people at SkyBus Stadium for Christmas lunch tomorrow with the help of Frankston City Mission and Frankston Council

This used to be held at nearby Arts Centre but due to Covid reasons the club was happy to step in and help and hopefully will be a great success.

Congrats to all the organisers, the weather is looking great Fine Max 20

On the playing side the team will resume training on January 11, with Friday members nights to return to the club from January 15

Great to see the club involved in this Robbo. Giving to the community is great in itself, but it's also excellent PR which the club needs on the road back to success. So many signs for optimism around the place at the moment, it's a good time to be a Dolphin supporter!
