Round 9 vs Collingwood Named 5th best
Round 10 vs Frankston Named 6th best
Hardly a consistent contribution !!
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
He was also named in the best against Werribee. Personally, I think someone who plays 19 games for one of the better teams in the comp, averaging 16 touches, has probably been a pretty good contributor.
I have to agree with Paul he was a good contributor. He was named in the teams best in games other than the ones you have mentioned Digs as well as regularly featuring in the top 5 weekly votes for the Heather Doughty Memorial Trophy.

THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
Ben Giobbi is the latest player to leave the Borough signing for Rowville. With Conway having a quiet season and taking into account the quantity of defenders signed and the strength of the midfield, is it time to sign 2, 3 dangerous forwards ?
There will be a lot of new faces at the club this year. It's going to be a huge challenge for Ayres to keep the club in finals contention in 2020. Werribee will continue to improve and I think will be right up there again next year.
The Borough pick up another quality signing from North Melbourne in Nash Holmes. Holmes has made Northport his home after coming 2nd in North Melbourne's best and fairest and has impressed with his high number of possessions.
Port starting to build a exciting list however I still feel that the next piece of the puzzle should be a couple of dangerous forwards.
Tom Hobbs departs the club.
A really good signing for Frankston!
That's a good pick up for Frankston. I was very surprised at his limited game time towards the end of his time at Port, did he even play a game this year ? Early on in his time at Port he looked like he was about to break out and become a great player but then spent a heap of time on the sidelines with his injury.
As well as being a very good club man, his hard tackling and tough play will be welcomed at Frankston.
Probably was a tad unlucky not to play more games at Port, which is most likely due to competing for a spot in a era that Port has had a very strong midfield.
Perfect fit for Frankston. No doubting his ability, and could develop into a very good player getting a game every week. Nice to get one back from Port....
Yeah I'll put money on Tom Hobbs playing in every game that he is physically fit to play. I will be surprised if he doesn't get picked up again by another VFL club in the future (unless Frankston improves and becomes a more competitive club).
