Thanks very much for the kind words. I'm really hoping 2020 is a season for the standalones, I'd love to see Frankston, Coburg and Werribee right up there at finals time.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and especially David for running this site. Here's to a good 2020 with plenty of standalone wins despite all of AFL Vic's efforts to make that more difficult!

Really hoping Frankston and Coburg can get a handful of wins on the board this year, which give them a real boost.

Hope everyone had a great Xmas and 2020 will be a good year. Coburg will definitely improve especially with a few of the recruits from Richmond. Frankston will keep improving on and off the field. Night footy is a plus. Should get a good crowd against Richmond. Jay Schulz can hopefully be injury free and guide the kids. Port and Willy always there. For the seagulls besides Sam Murray not sure of their new recruits. Have lost a fair bit of experience but if the recruits are ok could threaten again. Port in same boat as Willy but not lost as many players but unknowns could be ok.

Hopefully we will have a stand alone premier in 2020, but most of the other teams have recruited pretty well. eg Box Hill. Looking forward to seeing Coburg climb the ladder this year and hopefully make the finals. Frankston are still a fair way off the pace in terms of personel, three big losses in McCarthy, Corey Rich and Gok Loy will hurt, hopefully some of the kids blooded last year will step up.

VFA - 99% sure Schultz and Frost are non playing coaches next year. Robbo might be able to confirm?
