Digs I got the message regarding afhg at Arden street being cancelled. The sporting world will be rocked with more cancellations, postponement, playing with no crowds, shorter season etc over the next few weeks. The afl being pig headed still no decision as yet but you can safely say no crowds for round one or postponed. I heard the odi cricket match Aussies v new zealand has attracted a massive crowd. Two seagulls have just turned up. The vfl should not be impacted as there are usually no more than a few hundred at most games. 2020 sad times. Bring back 1970s when life was simple.

What do you do though ? Do you pick and choose which games to lock out or do you postpone the whole lot ? Williamstown opening game promises to have over 1,000 people ? Do you let first 500 in and then close the gates (following governments ban of gatherings of 500 people). Very strange times, like were living through a Hollywood sci fi movie !

Sure is mega. The year 2020 will be a strange one. Local and amateur footy you would think be ok or will it ? What will the they do at vfl games count the first 500 then lock the gates ? Options play with no crowd,  postpone, limit crowd ??? Who knows more twists than a Hitchcock thriller

Looks like a few local games are the go in april that is if they are not postponed as well. Wise move by afl to play with no crowd. You will see shortened seasons at most local leagues.
