Nineteen from the one workplace just goes to show how contagious this thing is and reinforces the importance of lock down measures.

Sorry thats 22 cases too many and more will be found with the amount of testing being done.

Victoria fell well behind in its testing rate, which is the key thing. Thankfully they are now catching up, and finding positive cases is a good thing because it means people are in quarantine and their contacts are being tested, rather than it spreading silently and more cases coming to light down the track when the season might be trying to start.

The SA govt has done a great job, lesser restrictions but really high early testing, and the talk now is of the SANFL starting before the AFL. Of course, I imagine that's subject to no more outbreaks, which is always a chance.

Is Tassie footy likely this year Paul ?
Been watching a few of the old Tassie games on YouTube including the 1978 Glenorchy v Sandy Bay GF where Peter Hudson kicked his 150th. Watched a game at Bellerive from 1976 and it looked like a country ground. Had some cars in the ground and tooting horns when goals were kicked. .

There are still two grounds in the league where cars can come in, Lauderdale and Launceston, which might actually come in very hand upon return from COVID! Lauderdale is like the Pt Gellibrand of the TSL, a great challenge to play there. Re this year, I think there is a very good chance of TSL playing this year, but as with everything that depends on infection numbers remaining low.
