If it goes more than an Aug start not worth making the effort.
The VAFA are only talking about a 50/50 chance they will play this year!
Vfa, I'll never forget Callum Urch's name after that kick. That's heartbreak at its' finest. I doubt we could have challenged Port the next week, but it was a bold effort anyway. The win against Coburg the week before had been gutsy as well. To push Willy to the death was outstanding. Don't think I was ever more proud of a Frankston team. Think my dislike of all things gold and blue began that day too haha.
The AFL must have planned for this to happen as it was certain a player would eventually become infected, and they should have a contingency plan. Maybe they dont...Its taking an awful long time to tell us whats going on.
Looks like Storm will be relocated from AAMI Park to NSW for the next few games. Interesting to see if the VAFA do play as only now a 50/50 chance. There is nine who vote on this and if 5 vote against playing then could snowball for a lot of other leagues
Callum Urch may have covered himself in glory that particular day but his life didn't turn out so well
i did not need to know that
Ovens and Murray, Murray FL & Goulburn Valley FL have all pulled the pin for the year. Another 3 leagues have bitten the dust for the 2020 season.
Hampden League and Warnnambool & District League ditto
Southern Football League look like its going ahead a week before the VFL starts
Two hours ago this went up on the AFL website......NEAFL players up for grabs in VFL 'loan' system.....if that's just happened, they're definitely still intending to go ahead.
We are an unofficial VFA / VFL website made up of long time and new supporters of clubs from the Victorian Football Association (now Victorian Football League)..
