Im not sure about Tom Goodwin, the club hasnt released any news as of yet. Definetely a asset to any vfl club providing he is a good boy and doesnt spend too much time on the sidelines.

Theve been some huge wins v Frankston in the past but theirs also been several games that leave Port fans wondering why Frankston is not higher placed on the ladder. At times Port has had to work very hard for the points with Frankston putting in some very competitive games when its least expected.

Bearsman in regards to Tom Goodwin - its now official that the tough boy and biggest and baddest ruckman in the league - is not playing with either Frankston or Port in season 2021 - Tom has retired from VFL. Dylan Van Yunen has also retired after a lengthy time at Port.

As for Port v Frankston winning margins, heres a stat (and Robbo may be interested in this as well as I know hes a stats man) - since (and including )2015 the average winning margin is 59.6 points - a bit of a mixed bag - some sizeable wins, a blow out and a close game.

If i was a real cheeky smart arse i would remind you of the blow out in 2015 round 19. Port 211 v Frankstons 65 but im not that much of a stirer therefore wouldnt remind you of that near 150 point win. ?

Mega knows that I am NOT a smart arse Bearsman !

But 2008 will forever linger in whats left of my addled brain & the most pleasing part is that they will never get the opportunity to square the ledger !

Bliss !!!

Digs loved that match so much he posted the comment twice, as if reading it once was not enough i had to subject myself to reading and being reminded of that sad day in Port Melbourne F.C. history twice- the day that the boys from Park your car round the ground and toot your horn stadium needed a AFL side to beat the mighty Borough !

Mega,

It still leaves a sour taste in your guts to acknowledge that the mghty Borough were brought to their knees by a bush footy club. By a fair margin I remember.

As I have explained many many times in the past prior to your "Johnny come lately" posts The Roosters played seven Kangaroo listed players mostly rookies that were no better than the Rooster players, unlike Port's long list of ex AFL has beens that had amassed far more AFL games than the Rooster rookies.

Get over it & STOP using the old Kangaroo partnership which failed to materialise on two occasions with Port as an excuse. You weren't Bloody good enough. !

Happy days.

Think your selling yourself short by your description of bush footy club - being Victorias 3rd most populas region you can hardly be described as a bush footy club. Port would never lose to a bush footy club (unless they used several AFL players to win them the game).

As for Johny come lately posts- i reckon if we still had the post counter i would be close to 1,500 posts as a thousand was passed a few years ago - been posting for years not just lately.

As for the margin in that game - can't remember- Port has played in too many grand finals to be able to remember them all.
