Ashcroft Appointed Sandy Zebras CEO
The Sandringham Football Club Board advises the appointment of Marcus Ashcroft as the new club CEO.
Ashcroft played 318 games for Brisbane and won 3 premierships in his playing career. Post playing, Marcus worked at the Gold Coast Suns in both Assistant Coach roles and as Footy Manager.
Marcus moved back to Victoria in 2017 to take up a position in the AFL's talent division.
Marcus takes over from outgoing CEO David Cannizzo who moves on to another executive sporting role.
A very well credentialed appointment. Hopefully he's the type of CEO that genuinely has the club's best interests at heart and isn't just a stepping stone to something else.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
The Zebras might have a half decent side if St Kilda keep on with their massive recruiting spree!
Thats if they treat the VFL comp properly and want to play to their potential as AFL players!
