Dolphins need Freeman out there tonight. They should get a very good crowd especially being game number 1000. Looking forward to it.

No Freeman, no Lambert are two massive outs for the Dolphins. We need to get used to having no Freeman, he has finally nominated for the draft.

Excited to see D'Arcy back. Very exciting key forward - can take a grab.

Honestly, given the outs, we should be closer to paying $15......so disappointing for the club on a big occasion.

Great crowd. Number 3 in green no control. Dolphins trail by 46 points at three quarter time. Not a  real reflection of the game. Hopefully the dolphins can peg a few goals back in last quarter. The atmosphere is absolutely electric.

Shattered to see the boys cave in like that, they are a better team than this. 81 points is not nearly an accurate reflection of that contest. At the 23 minute mark of the 3rd Frankston trailed by 18 points and I thought if they could drag another back before the break they had a real sniff......then the avalanche came.

A few facts......until the 23 minute mark of the 3rd, that was a bloody admirable effort from an outsized, undermanned group with two of its' genuine stars missing. Be under no illusion, this is the best quality team we've had on the park since Brett Lovett days.

We are seriously undersized in the backline and we are getting smacked weekly for it. Invariably AFL teams have one or two blokes who are big and just can't cut it at league level. These blokes come and feast on Frankston, because we have nobody that can reach them. Our centeline is outstanding, but even if they can only marginally get on top or break even we're in strife because inside 50s for our opposition will regularly result in goals. I guess that's probably already the key objective for our coaching/recruiting staff for next year - two big bodied defenders would be very handy.

Cross everything and pray that Nathan Freeman doesn't get taken in the draft. Fordham and Newman are absolute warriors for that side, but are twice as good with Freeman taking the heat next to them.

If a fight breaks out the hill might be happy, but I doubt the coaching staff are. For some reason we have history with not being disciplined after a blue. Happened again tonight, and it's not how we wanna be known. Play footy and leave that shit to our opponents.

Despite the result, something special has begun at Frankston. I'll upload some pics shortly that I took at halftime, which I think would be the envy of every other club in the comp. Community footy at its' very best. I don't know what the crowd figure was tonight, but I can't remember seeing a crowd that big since I was a kid, and that's a bloody long time ago. Going to watch Frankston has become a local event for the first time in many years, and right now I'd say we're the best supported club in  the league.
