Stand alone haven't been training, players on AFL list have, a little bit of a advantage there.

THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
No footy for a while yet. The lockdown will be lifted on Friday but its almost certain a 25 km travel restriction will remain.
You can't travel ,more than 25 km. How long will they have this absurd ruling ?
Casey, Frankston, Werribee, Geelong some of the clubs have almost no chance of playing with that idiotic ruling.
Won't get too much better on Friday as masks indoors and outdoors to be worn, no visitors at home including family. Locktoria the place to be (not). No footy this weekend for VFL in Victoria and would be very surprised if any senior football is played in Victoria. Possibly next week but what are they going to do cancel all games when travel is 26km or 28km away for some country clubs.
Very confident of VFL footy being played in Melbourne this weekend, but with no crowds unfortately
These are the supposedly Round 9 games..
If they stick with same fixture only 3 games could be played.
Casey v Collingwood (travel is over 25km)
Gold Coast Suns v Williamstown (travel restrictions)
Greater Western Sydney v Aspley
Port Melbourne v North Melbourne
Sandringham v Coburg
Sydney Swans v Box Hill (travel restrictions)
Werribee v Geelong (travel is over 25km)
There will be a revised fixture for this weekend but games will go ahead without crowds
Will there be any local footy Robbo ? EFL, VAFA etc
Revised fixture for this weekend would mean no home game for North Melbourne or Collingwood.
Whilst there is a 25 km limit i cant see how matches can go ahead, its not the old days when players actually lived in the locality
The simple answer to that CGull is, if the players are being paid, then they would be deemed to be travelling for work I would think
