Pass for me too. No chance whatsoever. The only games I will attend will have to include at least one VFA team Port, Willy, Frankston, Coburg, Preston or Werribee.
Wally - Sandringham last played the the MCG for premiership points on Saturday the 19th of July 1986 and beat Brunswick by 37 pts
The match was part of a VFA double header the other match was Coburg v Frankston h which Coburg won by 19pts
Mark Jacko Jackson who had played a few games for Brunswick and was supposed to be the big drawcard but pulled out a couple of days before the match and it killed the crowd that ended up being only 6253.
So I did go to the other two matches at the G but I don't have to go on Sunday as it is on CH 7 live and with an 85 in TV it is way better to watch on the big screen for an old bastard like me!.
Port Melbourne v West Adelaide was the worst! Cold, freezing night with Port fielding a 2nd side for the match. Great idea from foxtel that never really took off like their foxtel cup soccer comp which is known to bring in the masses towards the final rounds.
17 PREMIERSHIPS, 21 X Runners up
THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
I also with my father attended the VFA V Tasmania match at the MCG at the Centenary of Australian Football 1958 ANFC Carnival which the VFA were able to win.I was 15 and took a day off from school.

Easy enough to find the scores, but goalkickers and best players ??
Haven't checked today's herald sun. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

I was at that game in 1986. Stayed for both the Sandringham v Brunswick and Frankston v Coburg games.
I have gone to a couple of Foxtel cup games at the MCG in recent years. Williamstown v Apsley and Port Melbourne v West Adelaide.
