Southport sharks great win from behind. They know how to win. Might have to watch replay of last quarter of this game.
I have always thought the the AFL calling the Gold Coast team the Suns was a massive marketing and financial mistake when you had Southport Sharks a ready made strong local club available with a massive social club that has 300 pokie machines and 55,000 members to draw on.
Hundred percent correct Billy. Southport should have been put way ahead of gold coast.
Yeah a well run club are the Sharks. Ready made, but the AFL want to own the license, so that sas never going to be an option.
I got to watch most of the Brisbane v Port game and I think the scoreline flattered us. A very strong Brisbane line up who, if they were accurate around goals would have heavily defeated us.
Our midfield was good in patches, but our skill level and abilities to win in a contest test us. Lots of link up footy comes undone and some haphazard forward entries hurt us.
I think the Borough can begin planning for next year.
We have lots of potential to build on.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
Another good win by the dolphins to keep the flag flying for the vfa teams. I will be going to Cramer street next Sunday and hoping the bullants can to upset gws. You never know.
