I'll be watching the Casey v Port game from home. We have a good side in this week so I'm hoping for us to really take it right up to the Scorpions. I'm guessing it will be cold and windy out at the barren ground!

I spoke too soon. Hunter is a late out which does hurt our chances.

Hofert did well in the ruck, but didn't quite have the same presence around the ground.

The Borough started well, but fell away as Casey exerted their influence across the ground.

If Port can put 4 quarters together, we would be a damn good side!

Early in the third quarter and Frankston looking very good..about 40 points up. It would be a huge boost after the Dolphins poor showing against the Sharks last week.

Unbelievably good performance from the dolphins yesterday, the way they moved the ball with pace and precision makes them a dangerous side when switched on.

As a club they are probably doing better than all other ex vfa clubs- despite the cold night they had a very strong parochial crowd with the other two I went with telling me it was the lowest Frankston attendance they have been to this year.

Very impressive performance by the Dolphs. Slight drop off in the last quarter but understandable with the game well and truly won. Even more meritorious as they were without three of their guns, Freeman, Reidy and Stoddart and lost Rendell to injury in the first quarter. Geelong were pretty ordinary and couldnt put enough pressure on Frankston to stop their run.

Mynott was oustanding in the forward line with 5 goals, but it was a really even contribution from all players. Owens probably had his best game for Frankston, took the mark of the year and kicked 2.2 and was excellent in the ruck. Duman BOG by a mile, 42 possesions with 36 kicks (most of which hit the target) and 15 marks. Looks every inch an AFL player in the making.

Great performance from the Dolphins on a very tough night for footy. They adapted their slick handball game beautifully in the slippery conditions and just made sure the ball wasn't getting past them. Not a weak link on the ground all night. Yes, Geelong were poor with their handling and disposal but were under relentless pressure whenever they went near the pill.

Fantastic response from our boys to the Southport nightmare. We won't make finals, but if we continue in that vein of form we won't lose many more games.
